Skeletal Quartz from Mexico is rare to begin with, but here we have a uniquely formed lustrous, translucent to transparent glassy Quartz crystal that has a shape that is difficult to describe, and is simply really fun to look at. It is doubly-terminated although the terminations appear to be rotated in relation to each other. The one dominant termination is skeletal with clay inclusions. Additionally, the crystal also appears to be pseudo-cubic (tabular) in shape, with 2 elongated parallel faces. All edges are in excellent condition. From a 2019 find. An incredibly fascinating and exquisite example of the wonders of nature. For the locale this is definitely a unique rarity! The pocket went to Peter Megaw at the time, and this is a great example in the size range.
