This is certainly one of the most adorable Copper Country crystallized silvers on any size, that we have offered at auction. This superbly stylized piece looks like a standing bear cub with a pine cone or bee hive in his paw and holding it up to his nose to smell! The overall form of the bear is spinel-twins with the nose, top of the head and along the back being sharp tetrahexahedrons. The cub has nice luster, contrasted by the matte-look of the hackly pine cone. A superb, old-time, crystallized Michigan silver thumbnail. Valued at $500-600.
