Item Description

A classic example of the old time "halfbreed" specimens of native silver with copper from Michigan. I think it's safe to say that these pieces are the most iconic examples of these two native metals together from any world locality. This particular specimen is an attractive miniature featuring a sculptural group of Copper highlighted by shiny areas of Silver all over. I can clearly see some defined crystal faces, when I look at the piece with a loupe, so it's not just a "lump>. I can see a small amount green Epidote for a nice touch. It's quite a showy example of this well-known material that dates back over a century. Valued at $1,200. From the collection of Colin Manlove.
