Item Description

A great historic representative specimen of Native Silver from the famous Tenmile Mining District in Summit County, Colorado. The piece is filled with dozens of small "wires" of Silver which are associated with tabular white Barite and crystallized Galena and gemmy golden Sphalerite. Specimens from this area are few and far between on the market, and I would safely estimate that this piece is 60-70 years old. It's a bit hefty, and one of only a handful of specimens that I have ever seen from this area.
