Item Description
The scuptural quality and aesthetics of this wire silver specimen from Uchucchacua are superb. One limb of the stout, curled and curved silver wire is embedded in matrix, while the other limb rises upward and splits into dramatic, finer wires. Four, small wires rise up from the matrix (one is a complete loop back into the matrix) like snakes beneath the gnarled "tree". This fine displays fabulously from either side. Fairly common around 10 years ago, these are now only available from advanced recycled collections in this quality. Valued at $2000.
