Item Description
A gorgeous and dense mounded nest of brightly burnished curved and curled silver wires very aesthetically set in a 3-dimensional matrix of solid, sintered-looking acanthite from a recent find at the Imiter Mine of Morocco. The longest and stoutest wire near the edge, if straightened out would be 5-6 cm long. The richness of the silver wires are a marvel to behold and this super piece definitely has numerous displayable views. Fairly valued at $2000 and well worth it. If this was old German material, you could add an order of magnitude and more to the price. THis modern production came out mostly around 2003-2005 and I have not seen so much around recently. THis is a very fine, impressive, showpiece with some heft, for the find.
