Item Description

A fine and extremely rich silver ore specimen from the famous mines a Guanajuato, Mexico. This specimen features a multitude of beautifully burnished, aesthetically placed, curved and curled silver wires and thick silver ropes in a large vug in massive, solid acanthite. The stout silver rope at one end is 9 mm across. Old-time material. Ex. Jean Behier Collection (circa mid 1900s). 149 grams or 5.2 ounces. Gorgeous, on display, with a rich patina
