A striking, old-time and aesthetic, thumbnail nest composed entirely of beautifully curved and curled silver wires from the historic Smuggler Mine at Aspen. Documented silver specimens from Aspen are very uncommon and are very highly sought-after by Colorado collectors. Ex Howard Belsky Collection and comes with a label indicating that the piece was collected circa 1915! Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
