Item Description
A wonderfully aesthetic nest of curved and curled silver wires with a pretty patina form an elegant and showy miniature from the Beaver Mine. The wires are attached to a bit of greenstone matrix. This piece could have come out anywhere in the heyday of this mine, which operated from 1907 to 1940. So the piece is at least 60 years old. Ex Robert Hauck Collection. It came through the noted John Durkos Collection to Bob.
