Item Description

A showy, rich and rare silver ore combination from this less well-known and extinct Cobalt silver mine. A very nifty, 8 mm, curled, tapered silver wire is the highlight of this piece. The wire is attached to a rich vein of acanthite, that has been interestingly casted by calcite rhombs. The underlying matrix is calcite with a thin quartz layer on the bottom. Acanthite is rare from this mine. Hefty silver ore at 53 grams mass. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
