Thick nests of beautifully burnished, arborescent, spinel-twinned silver crystals richly cover all sides of the striking, blocky, calcite matrix on this older specimen from the famous mines at Batopilas. This is an exceptional, 3-dimensional piece, as nearly all silvers from here are flat lying, as they came from very thin calcite veins. Every turn and side presents an entirely different perspective to this very fine and rich specimen.
