A rare and exceptional large combination plate from this well-known Cobalt area silver and cobalt mine. RARE for the mine, pretty lavender erythrite covers the striking dense clusters of grape-like silver on the thin diabase matrix crust. A cluster of sharp, metallic-gray, skutterudite crystals, to 7 mm, is a super accent. VERY RARE combination material valued at $2500. by the former dealer who had it. This is old material, probably from the mid-1900s
