Item Description
This is a wonderful and showy miniature sized specimen of these classic and hard to find Silvers. Typically we're used to seeing flattened groups, typically composed of wires, but THIS piece is a rarely seen "leaf" with a fantastic shape/appearance and a gorgeous antique patina. I love the overall form, as the piece almost resembles something organic. This piece would make a great addition to any miniature suite, a native element collection or a collection of Canadian minerals. The Silver specimens from the Beaverdell area (namely the Highland Bell Mine) in British Columbia are incredibly beautiful, and notably difficult to find on the market, especially a "leaf" like this. The best specimens are every bit as attractive and charming as those from old classic localities like Kongsberg, Norway or Freiberg, Germany or even contemporary material from Peru or China. Valued $1,500. Specimen weight is 7.73 grams
