An unusual combo piece from finds of the early 2000s, this massive piece of lustrous, dark gray galena crystals hosts wonderfully patinated wires of native silver, to over 2 cm in length. The textural and color contrasts between the cubic galena and the nearly iridescent silver, is quite striking. The complex and natural patina on the silver is gorgeous, and untouched by acid cleaning so common in this material. Rarely do you see silver on crystallized galena from ANY locale, let alone here.
