Silver on Copper xls (uncommon)

Item Description

A rare, very sculptural large copper with silver specimen from this famous Copper Country mine, the last to close in 1995. Tiny bright silver blebs are scattered along with a single green copper oxide bleb on the extremely well-crystallized flattened copper specimen. Densely intergrown sharp spinel-twins, tetrahexahedral crystals and copper wires with a nice patina comprise this dramatically biomorphic piece. The large crystal on one end looks like vulture or buzzard head with a sharp curved beak! Rare well-crystallized artistic copper with silver from this well-known mine.
