Item Description
The famed Bunker Hill Mine in Idaho is certainly best-known for its world-class Pyromorphite specimens, which are among the best examples of the species ever found. Perhaps the most well-known mineral from Bunker Hill is Cerussite, which is found in varying styles from prismatic crystals to "jackstraw" groups to reticulated twins, but what really makes them special is that they are sometimes found in association with Native Silver, which is quite rare in nature. This eye-catching miniature features a pair of diverging, prismatic groups of off-white colored Cerussite which are sitting on minor oxidized matrix, but if you look closely (we've illustrated it in the close-up photos), there are dozens of tiny, beautiful dendritic groups of Native Silver on the surface. A truly rare and alluring association specimen from one of the most famous localities in Idaho.
