Item Description
A very cool and rare old-time sawed and polished slab of silver and calcite from this old Cobalt silver mine. Specimens from the La Rose Mine are very uncommon and calcite is RARE. This striking piece features dentritic spinel-twinned silver crystal clusters dramatically embedded in the calcite matrix. A rare and outstanding old-time combination from this mine. Albert LaRose was one of the early discovers of silver in 1903 at Cobalt and the mine is named after him. Value of this fine combination rarity??
