Silver (ex Raul Sanabria Orellana Collection)

The Silver specimens from the Beaverdell area (namely the Highland Bell Mine) in British Columbia are incredibly beautiful, and notably difficult to find on the market. The best specimens are every bit as attractive and charming as those from old classic localities like Kongsberg, Norway or Freiberg, Germany or even contemporary material from Peru or China. This little thumbnail is a nice representation of these hard to find Silvers as it is a beautiful, sculptural piece with a gorgeous antique patina on the surface. I can't find any discernible crystal faces, but it's still showy and three-dimensional, and I feel like the shape resembles a character from some ancient alphabet. The piece weighs 0.17 grams. If you collect native elements, this is the a lovely thumbnail to add to your collection.
