Item Description

A strange historic artifact from Michigan, possibly belonging to a miner. This turned up in an old collection and seems to be a 1 inch silver cluster attached to a pin, for use as an accenting jewelry item on clothing. Clearly antique! The silver specimen is a nice, large thumbnail of crystals that are sharp, with an antique patina. It is a fine thumbnail specimen that can be removed from the pin, and worth perhaps $750-1000 on its own. But it has been left as is, presumably somebody's old family heirloom. Donated by Ed Loye to the MINDAT auction.
