Item Description
A sculptural, very rich silver on copper halfbreed nugget from the famous Quincy Mine. Halfbreeds form rarely when molten silver and copper get bound together, without alloying or intermixing. Nuggets like this, so far as I know, only came from old Michigan mines. The sculptural, bright, subhedral silver looks like a three-leaf clover on the side of a biomorphic animal with a large head. Thats embedded analcime on the backside. This is a classic, old-time and rare halfbreed in this richness of silver. 42 grams.
