Item Description
An attractive, classic Silver specimen from Batopilas featuring "Spinel"-twinned herringbone style crystals in a somewhat dendritic formation, free of matrix. This specimen was mined in the early 1980s at the New Nevada Mine. The piece has variable patina, showing brighter more metallic reflections in areas, against contrasting darker patches. Beautiful to view up close. Fine quality all around, and the piece could essentially be called a complete "floater", as I don't see any point of attachment or damage anywhere.
Ex Brian Kosnar collection.
