Item Description
A good quality and fairly hard to find specimen of crystalline and "spongy" Silver from this well-known mine in Cobalt. The piece appears to be solid Silver, no actual matrix or associations that I can see, and weighs 132.7 grams. A rich patina can be seen on all sides, though tiny areas of more "silvery" colored Silver are visible. These are rare on the market today, especially in such concentrated examples like this.
From the collection of Colin Manlove
