This is a classic example of the famous, historic curling wire silver specimens from the old mining districts of Saxony. No telling how old it is, but they do turn up in old collections as well as form some lucky finds in the 1900s as well. However, this one I am inclined to believe is odler, as its from an old collection broken up in Europe a few years back. It is your classic German silver - elegant, and very surreal in form.
