Item Description

This is a delicate and attractive wire silver from Freiberg, one of the world's great Silver localities. The tree-like form is very appealing, and it is well-balanced visually. Please note that a few of the hair-thin wire loops near the middle actually dangle, which in not really unusual for a complex wire Silver. The aesthetics are excellent! Although we have no history with the specimen, it was in the Hoppel collection by the late 1990s and has been there ever since. This is a rare chance to get an important, large, curlicue silver wire of this classic form, in good size and at an auction price!
