Item Description
Native Silver specimens from Arizona are uncommon at best and those from Gila county are rare. Here is an example of Native Silver from the McMillanville Mining District with millimeter sized Silver crystals in a milky Quartz vein. There are a few tiny spinel twin crystals extending off of the matrix with a 2.5 mm crystal visible on the side. A significant and rich Silver specimen from this rare Arizona location. Mass is 75 grams. Donated by Leonard Himes to the MINDAT auction. His value on this label was $1800 and that seems quite fair for something so rich and unusual for an Arizona silver.
