Item Description
Imiter is one of the world's best locations for outstanding Silver specimens, and this gorgeous miniature shows exactly why. The Silver wires, almost ropes on this scale, twist and twirl as two virtual cobras rising upright in classic cobra posture. Said ropes are composed of wire strands that create an attractive, striated look, and the bright luster and slightly iridescent patina are so desired for fine Silvers. The smaller of the two ropes even appears to have a fine coasting of Acanthite, a venerable, well-known association. The aesthetics of this miniature are superb, having great visual composition and form. Exceptionally elegant from ANY locality! Valued $3000-4000.
