Item Description

An elegant, curving wire of very robust, thick, ropey silver - this is quite exceptional for the famous Imiter silver mine. Few silvers ever each this magnitude of size here, and it makes this specimen LOOK LIKE it is on a par with a miniature from Germany or Kongsberg in Norway - but more rare for the locale! We suspect it is an old specimen! Sadly, we cannot date it as with most of the specimens here, as the tiny number label came off the bottom. But, we suspect it is older, probably 1980s vintage.
