Here we have a rather rich specimen of Silver from the classic locality at Batopilas, Mexico. This robust small cabinet specimen is loaded with hundreds of small, but fine slender crystals with bright metallic luster and silvery-white hue. The crystals were exposed by etching away the Calcite in which they formed, and upon close inspection you can see they are beautifully well-formed, showing a myriad of habits, ranging from almost arborescent forms to single euhedral crystals and even some tiny Spinel-law twinned, "Herringbone"-style crystals on matrix. The crystals are best seen under magnification, and we've photographed them with macro lens to better illustrate the quality. These distinctive and classic Silver specimens are immediately distinguished from all other Silver specimens around the world for their form beautiful appearance.
