significant Tsumeb Anglesite with Mimetite

Numerous, gemmy, glassy and relatively large crystals of Anglesite are surprisingly rich on this Tsumeb piece along with a myriad of tiny Mimetite crystals! The mostly transparent Anglesite crystals are tabular, spearpoint-shaped and range from 5 mm to nearly 4 cm in size. They have an internal glow to them due to the high refractive index of Anglesite. These are stunningly good and pretty for the species from Tsumeb! The crystals are what cement Goethite-stained breccia fragments together that makes for an interestingly textured piece. What's more is that the individual fragments are lined with sparkling, less than 1 mm, colorless to very pale yellow Mimetite crystals that makes the piece glisten! There are even a couple of patches of turquoise-blue that consist of tufts of acicular microcrystals (unknown and not analysed). This is really a very good and very bright combination specimen from Tsumeb!
