An impressive 9.0 cm, rich green, lustrous, translucent terminated emerald crystal is aesthetically set on the smoky quartz crystal matrix plate. The pristine emerald has classic textbook hexagonal crystal form. This would be a very fine large non-gemmy crystal from Colombia where they are more common but ...Matrix Afghanistan emeralds of this size and quality are VERY RARE and are seldom on the market.
