Item Description
Siegenite is an uncommon cobalt, nickel sulfosalt and is an extremely rare mineral from Missouri"s Viburnum Trend. Extremely sharp, isometric, steel-gray siegenite crystals are richly and aesthetically scattered on the matrix crust of marcasite. The lustrous siegenite crystals reach 5 mm. This thumbnail is high-grade, older material from the famous Buick Mine and is seldom available in this quality. Even the mine level is known, which is uncommon.
