Item Description

Siegenite is an uncommon cobalt-nickel sulfosalt and this is a nifty combination miniature plate from Missouri's famous Lead District. Two extremely sharp, lustrous and brassy, 9 mm, compound crystals really stand out with smaller crystals on the mounded plate covered with dolomite rhombs. Very choice material for this uncommon species. Ex Larrry Krause dealer stock from long ago, this is a SUPERB example of this very rare species. valued $400
