Item Description

A seldom seen Neudorf Siderite with Sphalerite specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, translucent, greenish-brown rhombic clusters of Siderite, with individual crystals measuring up to 5 mm associated with dark brownish-black colored crystals of Sphalerite measuring up to 6 mm for a nice touch. The central crystals are all in fine shape, but the piece is obviously contacted around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. If you collect worldwide Siderites or Sphalerites or German classics, don't miss out on this eye-catching association piece from this historic locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11073). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
