Item Description
Excellent combination piece from the famous Cavradi gorge in Switzerland. The numerous, well-formed Siderite crystals are clearly the focus of this small cab. The largest of the curved rhombs is 1.1 cm on edge, and the good luster enhances the rich, brownish-red color. Intergrown with the Siderites are numerous plates of Rutile ps. Ilmenite, as well as preserved, single-bladed crystals. These twinned pseudomorphs, often refered to as 'Sagenite', have high luster and a great, delicate beauty to them. This choice small cab was #11,969 in Kay's collection.
