Item Description

Gormanite is an ultra-rare phosphate. Lustrous, fan-like sprays of acicular, sea-green, gormanite to 1.0 cm are nicely scatterd on the showy elongate, CABINET, matrix covered with gemmy and lustrous, deep, golden-amber siderite rhombs. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly only a modest detraction overall. This excellent combo piece, from the Larry Krause Collection is from theYukon, Canada. It is a Co-Type Locality for gormanite - Rapid Creek or Big Fish River.
