Siderite with Cassiterite and Quartz

A beautiful association specimen from this classic locality. Chicote Grande is one of the "forgotten" mines in Bolivia over the last 20 years as very little material has been available on the market, but in its day, this locality provided collectors with some very attractive display specimens. Several sharp, well-formed, beautiful golden-green color compressed crystals of translucent Siderite are associated with small, sparkling, black crysatls of Cassiterite along with white to colorless, gemmy prisms of Quartz. A light dusting of micro golden Pyrite makes for a final touch to the piece. A great combo piece from this well known Bolivian mine.
