Neudorf siderite specimens are an old-time, desirable European classic. Sharp, lustrous, translucent, olive-brown siderite rhombs to 1.8 cm on edge compose this aesthetic piece. This fine old classic displays well and the fuzziness to some of the crystals is actually a coating of micro calcite scalenohedrons! Periphery wear on the right side is noted and but is certainly a modest detraction. Siderite specimens of this quality are uncommon from this ancient lead-silver mining district.
