Siderite with Augelite on matrix

This material was some of the first Augelite to come out of Bolivia in a long time when it hit the market in the early 2000's. This piece features dozens of greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite with several sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystasls of Augelite measuring up to 1.0c m associated with with lustrous octahedral Pyrite on micro Quartz on matrix. This is definitely one of the showiest specimens of this association I've seen from Tasna, as many of them are just lumps. It's a very good quality piece for the material, and the associations make it very desirable for collectors. If you're a Bolivian mineral collector, do not pass this one up, because it's a very worthwhile Siderite / Augelite from Tasna.
