Item Description

This material featured some of the first Augelite to come out of Bolivia in a long time when it hit the market in the early 2000's. This piece features sharp, layered, greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite measuring up to 2.2 cm across with a few sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 4 mm associated with micro lustrous octahedral Pyrite and micro Quartz on matrix. This is definitely one of the showier specimens of Siderte with Augelite that we've offered from Tasna, in a while as many of them are just lumps. It's a very good quality piece for the material, and the associations make it very desirable for collectors. If you're a Bolivian mineral collector, do not pass this one up, because it's a very worthwhile piece from Tasna.
