Item Description

A classic and excellent large combination specimen from the famous Morro Velho Mine. A beautiful and striking cluster of water-clear, doubly terminated quartz points to 6.0 cm is very aesthetically attached to the side of a solid, 3-dimensional mass of flattened, tan to colorless, siderite disks with scattered nicely accenting, smaller quartz points. The quartz cluster has only trivial bruising to one tip and very modest bruising and perphery wear is noted to the rest of the piece. This very fine large combination specimen probably dates to the 1970s. Seldom on the market in this style, quality and size. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Valued at $300-400.
