Siderite rhombs of this very large size are uncommon from the famous Panasqueira Mine. Three, aesthetically intergrown, sharp, lustrous, tanish-gray siderite rhombs to 7.2 cm rest on a sculptural bed of brassy chalcopyrite crystals with a few arsenopyrite crystals. Complete all-around, this striking large piece is preferentially and very richly coated with tiny, flattened, calcite rhombs, including the base! Nearly a floater, the three points of attachment are on the sides of the chalcopyrite base. Classic and most excellent large combination material from the Schlichter Collection. Valued at $400-500.
