Impressive, large, parallel-growth, lustrous and translucent, olive-brown, tapering siderite crystals form a striking and aesthetic specimen from this famed locale. This piece would be from the heyday there in the late 1970s into the 1980s. The dramatic large crystal is 4.9 cm across and this is one of the few siderites from here we have seen that is actually impressive on its own merit, instead of as an accent for other species.
