Item Description

A striking and unusual style of Dal'negorsk siderite unique to the Nikolaevskiy Mine. The well-rounded, light brown siderite crystals, to 4.7 cm, have crude rhombic form and attractively rest on an impressive plate of glassy quartz points. Essentially pristine, with only trivial periphery wear. A fine and weird-looking display quality combination siderite specimen with multiple fine display views. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1995. Dal'negorsk material of this style and quality is very uncommon today.
