Item Description
A very sparkling and rare example of these famous casts of siderite after calcite, showing full removal and casting of siderite atop of the surfaces of a previous calcite crystal. This one is exquisite for the size, super aesthetic, with no damage as they usually have. You can tell it is hollow both by weight, and peering through the small gaps in the siderite cast. It has minor associated sulfides. This is simply one of the sharpest examples we have seen of this now-classic old material. Probably from the 1990s-early 2000s. Ex.
