Item Description
The Turt Mine is an ancient Pb-Zn mine, with modern mining staring in 1973. This is an aesthetic epimorph from this well-known mine. Sparkly brown siderite has multiply pseudomorphed a sculptural intergrown cluster of sharp calcite rhombs, to 2.4 cm on edge. The multiple thin layers of siderite on the hollow epimorphs are indeed striking. A very fine pseudo with excellent aesthetics and sculptural quality with multiple display views from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
