Item Description

Siderite nodules are known from this Washington locality, but are apparently seldom on the market. MINDAT does not feature a photo in the locality Gallery. This strikingly nubby 360-degree specimen looks like a pinecone and is composed of euhedral and subhedral siderite crystals. Complete all-around. It appears to be a floater and has very few broken nubs. Sculptural and uncommon siderite from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
