Item Description

An outstanding and classic combination specimen from the famous Morro Velho Gold Mine. Famous, highly compressed, gemmy, yellow-green, siderite rhombs to 2.5 cm encircle the middle of a water-clear, doubly terminated quartz crystal. Despite the fact that this was a gold mine, it produced some unique siderite association specimens during the early 1970s. All of the many major siderites are pristine and the specimen is pristine! Both quartz terminations have out of sight contacting on their backsides, but with no damage, per se. A fabulous combination specimen from the Gene Meieran Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! Valued $750
