Siderite on Quartz

Rare and outstanding, this combination is from the closed Sauberg Mine, a well-known tin-tungsten deposit. Looking through the literature, you may not find a piece as aesthetic, with such good Siderites perched on gemmy and glassy Quartz crystals. Really, the pics show you all you need to know, and they speak volumes! This was #4920 in Kay's collection, and it is both remarkable and so very fortunate that this has survived all these years is such great condition. One of my favorites!
