Item Description
Fine, classic combination piece from this area of Morocco, where sharp siderite crystals only rarely came out long ago. The well-formed Siderites reach 2.1 cm individually, with the sharp rhombs combining to make a well-placed cluster 3.8 cm across. The matrix is composed of gemmy Quartz crystals to 1.8 cm. This cabinet piece is an excellent and representative example of this association from this area. It is actually a world class siderite in sharpness and form, from an unusual locality. If it was French, from the 1700-1800s, it would be worth ten times more but they look similar!
