Item Description

These specimens were found in 2005, and this specimen is one of the better Siderite I've had to offer from Tasna in a while. It is composed of several wonderful, large, semi-lustrous, translucent, well crystallized, greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite associated with minor Pyrite. This piece was difficult to photograph, but it's pretty impressive in person (especially from a Bolivian locality). The retail value on this specimen is $500. From the noted carbonate collection of Jim Robison, and accompanied by a label from John Attard.
